Workaway is an excellent platform for those who want to venture into the world, save money and, of course, learn completely new things (since you can choose what to do and where to go).
It is not the first time that I have given myself this opportunity.
In fact, it was the third.
The first was at a farm in Catalonia, the second at a wonderful resort in Croatia and now at a hostel in Bucharest.
What I can say is that at all times I have had immeasurable experiences.
BUT, LET’S TALK ABOUT THE EXPERIENCE IN ROMANIA
The hostel is called Podstel, the highest rated in the capital Bucharest.
The owners are English and the place is very welcoming.
The exchange was very fair: stay in an apartment shared with the other volunteers, breakfast and dinner at the hostel.
Among the available functions we had a cleaning shift, bed shift, event shift, kitchen shift – where the daily menu is vegan.
Me, as a good “aunt,” asked for my shifts were mostly in the kitchen.
YES, I discovered I love to cook a lot > food is a gesture of love, brings out a smile.
They agreed.
There was a pre-established menu, but I suggested my options – which were accepted by the owners and guests.
YES, they loved my food, as did my volunteer friends.
The cleaning and bed shifts were very smooth.
Everything was very well organized.
I had free time for everything: going out, sleeping, working out, exploring the city, traveling.
I have no complaints, just gratitude!
ABOUT HOSTEL
There is a daily schedule of events, games, afternoon tea and, in summer, outside activities.
The great asset for me is MUSIC. The musical events are wonderful. Local (and international) and talented artists perform there.
The vibe is intimate, it’s fascinating.
I met amazing music and people. I learned from every detail and enjoyed it too!
The volunteers became great friends.
Of all nationalities, younger, older.
I met people from all over the world.
I sang, danced, smiled, laughed.
We share everything.
Emotions, plans, dreams, frustrations.
It was beautiful.
I highly recommend it – the workaway experience and the stay.
And yes, I was supposed to spend 3 weeks, it was almost 3 months.
It was a lot of love.

O Workaway é uma excelente plataforma para quem quer se aventurar pelo mundo, economizar uma grana e, claro, aprender coisas completamente novas (já que você pode escolher o que fazer e pra onde ir).
Não foi a primeira vez que me dei essa oportunidade.
Na verdade, foi a terceira.
A primeira foi em uma granja na Catalunha, a segunda em um resort maravilhoso na Croácia e agora em um hostel em Bucareste.
O que eu posso afirmar é que em todas as vezes eu tive experiências imensuráveis.
MAS, VAMOS FALAR DA EXPERIÊNCIA NA ROMÊNIA
O hostel se chama Podstel, o mais bem avaliado da capital Bucareste.
Os donos são ingleses e o lugar é muito acolhedor.
A troca era bem justa: estadia em um apartamento compartilhado com as outras voluntárias, café da manhã e jantar no hostel.
Entre as funções disponíveis tínhamos turno de limpeza, turno de camas, turno de eventos, turno da cozinha – onde diariamente o menu servido é vegan.
Eu, como uma boa “tia”, pedi para que meus turnos fossem, em sua maioria, na cozinha.
SIM, eu descobri que amo muito cozinhar, que a comida é um gesto de amor, que feita com carinho, arranca sorriso.
Eles toparam.
Havia um menu pré-estabelecido, mas eu sugeria as minhas opções – que serem foram aceitas pelos donos e pelos hospedes.
SIM, eles amavam a minha comida, assim como meus amigos voluntários.
Os turnos de limpeza e de cama eram bem tranquilos. Tudo muito bem organizado. Tinha tempo livre para tudo: sair, dormir, malhar, explorar a cidade, viajar.Não tenho nenhuma reclamação, apenas gratidão!
SOBRE O HOSTEL
Existe uma programação diária, de eventos, jogos, chá da tarde e, no verão, atividades externas. O grande trunfo para mim, é a MÚSICA.
Os eventos musicais são maravilhosos.Artistas locais (e internacionais) e talentosos se apresentam ali.
A vibe é intimista, é algo fascinante.
Conheci musicas e pessoas incríveis. Aprendi com cada detalhe e curti demais!
Os voluntários se tornaram grandes amigos. De todas as nacionalidades, mais jovens, mais velhos.
Conheci gente do mundo todo.
Cantei, dancei, sorri, gargalhei.
Dividimos tudo. Emoções, planos, sonhos, frustrações.
Foi lindo.
LINDO!
Super recomendo – o trabalho e a estadia.
E sim, eu deveria passar 3 semanas, fiquei quase 3 meses.
Foi muito amor.
Deixou saudade.
